the first week of january:
- I applied for a million jobs which resulted in yet again nothing
- I made myself a personal goal of having the perfect eyebrows this year (I wish I was joking)
- I went to cambridge with my wonderful niece and enjoyed a day of browsing and eating wagamama (our favourite)
- I got to finally tell my niece that we're going to see Justin Bieber at the O2 in March!!!!
- I became an owner of an iPhone 5, which luckily for me didn't cost anything as I used my dad's upgrade. and I've got to say, after years of owning a blackberry, the iPhone shits all over my previous phones.
the second week of january:
- I browsed through cruises (for myself) for at least a good 5 hours at work.
- I went to lunch with/spent time with my big sister cath and my gorgeous niece molly, which I enjoyed a huge amount.
- I babysat two of my nephews, which mainly consisted of baby looney tunes, beans on toast and chocolate.
- england decided to cover everything in thick snow, which resulted in my family and I being stuck in our house for 5 days.
the third/last week of january:
- I listened to craig david non-stop, which I know doesn't sound like anything great but I love me some craig david and the love grew a significant amount that week.
- I re-read the perks of being a wallflower for the millionth time.
- I came across the horrendous video that is a girl eating a used tampon.... I WISH I COULD UNSEE THINGS.
- a lovely couple and their children viewed our house as it's currently on the market. it upset me a little as I really love our home and having to sell it is horrible.
- I applied for a few apprenticeships working in a nursery.
- I watched the perks of being a wallflower for the first time, and I enjoy the book a lot more.
this last week and a bit:
- I pulled a muscle in my neck and I was in a lot of pain for the most part of a week.
- one of my sister's had to be rushed to A&E as she was/still is incredibly unwell.
- my mum bought a new car which I'm super excited about!
- it snowed again and caused problems as usual.
- my sister was rushed back into hospital last night and she is a lot more unwell than before.
so that's what happened really, like I said, nothing great or interesting!
I have some good news though (well good for me). I got two calls back from two different nurseries and I have an all day trial/interview tomorrow and then another on saturday. I am incredibly excited that there is now a chance I can do something bigger/better with my life. I've always been interested in going down the childcare route, but never really thought it would be an option. but alas, I put myself out there and good things have come of it (for once).
I am also going back to turkey in two months and I extremely excited! I've gone every year for the past 7 years, to the exact same place. I love love love it there and I'm literally counting down the days.
